The inspiration for this ??5x Champ / Lakers?? colorway comes from none other than the NBA Championship leather jackets that were gifted to Bryant following his second and third title victories as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. A glossy finish is applied to the entire upper. Court Purple leather detailing can be found on the perforated toe, tongue, and mid-panel. The contrasting black leather overlays on the forefoot, eyelets, and toe cap are outlined in yellow trim to bring the decidedly ??Lakers?? theme together. Black mesh is located on the upper half of the heel, while the lower portion of the heel sports a plastic cup design for maximum stability.
